The leading two-wheeler manufacturer Jawa Yezdi has added another impressive model to its 350 Jawa series, the FJ42. This latest offering is available in six variants and has a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh in India.
Interested customers can now pre-book the motorcycle by visiting any authorised dealership in India. The pre booking also can be done online using the company’s official website.

The newly launched motorcycle shares the same style statement as the standard Jawa 42. However, the company has included some noticeable enhancements that make it superior to all its previous models. It offers an impressive stance, featuring round round-shaped-LED headlight setup, sleek turn indicators, and eye-catching alloy wheels, and has a single sitting arrangement with dual grab handles for the rear passengers.
Powertrain
It uses a bigger 334cc engine that generates a maximum power of 28.7 bhp and 29.6 Nm of peak torque, which are slightly higher compared to the Jawa 350. The unit is paired with the segment’s first 6-speed gearbox, putting it on the top shelf.
Suspension Setup
When it comes to the suspension setup, the company has included a telescopic fork at the front, while the rear is fitted with the dual shock absorbers. Apart from this, it also gets discs at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS.
Rivals
Interested customers also can opt for either spoked or alloy wheels. When it comes to the rivals, the bike competes against the recently launched Royal Enfield Classic 350 & TVS Ronin.
Colour Options and Pricing
The Jawa 42 FJ is available in a range of colours, including Deep Black Matte Red Clad, Deep Black Matte Black Clad, Cosmo Blue Matte, Mystique Copper, Aurora Green Matte, and Aurora Green Matte Spoke options. Prices for the model range from Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the chosen colour and wheel options.
