Yamaha has launched the new 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid in India with a price tag of Rs. 1,44,800, ex-showroom, Delhi. This is a more advanced version of the FZS FI V4 with changes to its engine and design and the addition of new features. Notably, the new FZ-S Fi Hybrid is Rs. 14,000 more expensive than the Deluxe variant of the FZS FI V4.
The term ‘Hybrid’ denotes the inclusion of a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) which delivers battery-assisted acceleration acting as a slight performance boost. It also helps with quieter engine starts. The company has also incorporated a Start and Stop System (SSS) which automatically shuts the engine off at idle and restarts with a quick clutch action thereby helping with saving some fuel.
The new FZ-S Fi Hybrid also comes with a 4.2-inch colour TFT screen with smartphone connectivity via the Y-Connect app. There’s turn-by-turn navigation linked to Google Maps which offers real-time directions, navigation index, intersection details, and road names.
The Recent Updates
Yamaha has also made other convenience-oriented changes like repositioned handlebar and switchgear buttons and the fuel tank cap is now hinged to the tank. Lastly, turn indicators are a part of the bodywork as they are integrated within the faux air intakes.
