Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) unveiled the Combat Air Teaming System (CATS) Warrior. This unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) is being touted as a loyal wingman to a bigger fighter jet that it would be paired with to carry out strike missions deep into enemy territory.

Russia’s latest Sukhoi SU-57 fighter aircraft had already made a buzz ahead of Aero India 2025 since it would be the first time the aircraft would share the same airstrip with the US’ F-35. However, focus on this mighty warplane became even more pronounced after F-35 and F-16 did not appear on static display at the show.
