Bajaj Auto sales in August:
Bajaj Auto is a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India. The company on Monday reported a 16 per cent growth on a year-on-year basis in its total vehicle whole sales in August 2024. The manufacturer recorded exports of 1,26,557 units, having a total sale of 3,97,804 units in August 2024.
Bajaj Auto is a Pune-based two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer, that had sold 3,41,648 vehicles in August 2023, according to a company statement.
Bajaj Auto’s domestic sales in August 2024:
Bajaj Auto’s total domestic sales, including commercial vehicles as well, saw an upsurge, rising 24 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The auto manufacturer recorded total wholesales of 2,53,827 units in August 2024, as compared to 2,05,100 units sold in the same month last year. There was an upsurge in domestic sales of 48,727 units.
Bajaj Auto’s exports in August 2024:
The auto manufacturer’s total exports during August, under review saw a growth of 5 per cent on a year-on-year basis. As per the company’s statement, the manufacturer recorded total exports of 1,43,977 units in August, an upsurge of 7,449 units, from 1,36,548 vehicles, being shipped out to overseas markets in August 2023.
Domestic sales of commercial vehicles:
Bajaj Auto has its three-wheelers in the commercial segment as well as in ICE and EV versions. The manufacturer recorded domestic sales of 45,206 units in August 2024, registering a marginal growth of 2 per cent on a year-on-year basis. There was a marginal upsurge of 926 units over the domestic sales recorded in August 2023.
Exports of commercial vehicles:
The exports of the Bajaj Auto commercial division registered a decent 41 per cent growth on a year-on-year basis. August 2024 recorded a total export of 17,420 units, which is over by 4,903 units as compared to the exports registered in August 2023.
