Expressway:
The expressway (Dholera – Ahmedabad) is being built with a broad space in between for a futuristic view of running a metro from Dholera to Ahmedabad. The space is so much that even 2 more lanes can be added on both sides.
The connectivity is such that it will further get connected to Delhi Mumbai Expressway. This expressway will reduce the travel time from Ahmedabad to Dholera to 60 min.
Airport:
The airport works are going on very rapidly. The airport is being designed with a view to handle 10 million passengers per annum. The runways are approximately complete. The land that has been allocated for the work makes this airport to be one of the biggest in terms of area. Facilities for cargo terminals, ATC, service roads and other are going on.
The runway of the airport is 2900 (2) meters long. The cost to complete is Rs. 1305 Crores.
