Input Device : Input device can be any of these devices –
- Floppy Disk Drive
- USB Flash Drive
- Serial Communication
- Ethernet Communication
- Conversation Programming
CPU/MCU
- Heart of the CNC
- Accepts info stored in the memory as part program
- Data is decoded and transformed into specific position control and velocity signals
- Oversees the movement of control axis or spindle and whoever this does not match with
- programmed values, a correction act is taken
M/C Tool
- Made of mostly HSS, Tungsten Crbide, Ceramics
- Tools are designed to direct waste away from material
- Some tool need oil to protect
Driving System
- Require to response accurately
- Motor is directly or indirectly attached to lead screw
- 3 types of motor generally used:
1. A.C.
2. D.C.
3. Stepper
