Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar edition as a tribute to its impressive second-place finish at the Dakar Rally in January 2024. Priced at Rs 1.68 lakh, ex-showroom, this limited-edition model is available for online bookings exclusively on Hero’s website starting December 18, 2024, with a booking amount set at Rs 10,000. The model is priced Rs 3,000 higher than the standard Pro variant.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition: What’s new
The Dakar edition, inspired by Hero’s rally success, is based on the Xpulse 200 4V Pro variant. While mechanically identical to the Pro, it features striking Dakar-inspired graphics featuring a distinctive livery and a Dakar logo adorning the fuel tank.

Besides that, the bike retains the trusted 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine delivering 18.9 bhp and 17.35 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by an adjustable telescopic front fork with 250mm travel and a rear adjustable mono-shock offering 220mm travel.
The Xpulse Dakar edition continues to feature a high seat height of 885mm, a ground clearance of 270mm, and a lightweight frame equipped with handlebar risers. The bike rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, fitted with 90/90 and 120/80 off-road tyres.
