KTM has recently updated its 200 Duke with the TFT display from the 390 Duke. This left the new gen 250 Duke in an awkward place as it costs more than the 200 but still has a black and white LCD display, but KTM has now fixed this.
- Gets the same TFT display as 390 Duke
- Also gets the 390’s signature LED DRLs
KTM 250 Duke launch details
The 250 Duke now features the same TFT display as the 390 Duke. This display comes with the new-age graphics seen on the 390 and it also has Bluetooth connectivity – although this was available earlier as well. Another update comes in the fresh switchgear from the 390 with a four-way menu switch to go with the new dash. Things haven’t changed in terms of rider assists and the bike continues with switchable ABS and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
Where KTM has changed the visuals is that the 250 now gets the headlamp surround DRL from the 390 Duke. However, the 250 continues with its sleeker side panels around the fuel tank and the bigger panels remain exclusive to the 390.
The good news is that despite these updates the price has only gone up by a couple of thousand rupees and the 250 Duke now costs Rs 2.41 lakh ex-showroom India.
