We have published our detailed review of the new OnePlus Nord phone. But, if you dont have time to read it, then here is a quick look at the review in five key points.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 review in 5 points
- The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is definitely worth buying under Rs 30,000 in India. It features an attractive design, which is purely because of its unique blue colour model. At the back, you will see a dual-circle camera arrangement and glossy finish that easily attracts fingerprints. But, you can use the bundled case to get rid of fingerprints. The bezels of the front are also slimmer, providing a more clean experience and screen space to users.
- In its latest iteration, OnePlus has offered a larger 6.74-inch AMOLED display to cater to those who want a bigger canvas for binge-watching and gaming. It has a dynamic screen refresh rate of 120Hz, which drops to 60Hz during moments of inactivity to preserve battery life. The colours of the screen are pretty vivid and contrasty. There is also support for 2160Hz PWM dimming to protect your eyes from screen flickering issues. Overall, you get a good display.
- The new OnePlus Nord CE 3 is using Snapdragon 782G processor, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The device can handle everyday tasks with ease. I got a smooth multitasking experience without much of an issue. The games like BGMI and Genshin Impact ran smoothly at low settings.
- The battery life of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 was remarkably good. Its larger 5,000mAh battery offered more than a day's battery life with basic usage. This involves, messaging, calling and watching some videos. Fortunately, OnePlus is still bundling a fast charger in the box, unlike some smartphone companies. The charger takes 30 minutes to fill up the battery to around 95 per cent.
- The camera performance is decent and people will get social media-worthy photographs in daylight. The low light performance is pretty good, which came as a surprise. The colours and details were retained well. So, all-in-all, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is an all-rounder 5G phone from the company.
