The Yamaha YZF-R15 burst into the Indian market in 2008 and changed the entire motorcycle scene. The R15 was way ahead of its time as the sports bike was the first made in India to two-wheeler to come with a liquid-cool engine. The motorcycle is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with an output of 18.1bhp power at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and is equipped with assist and slipper clutch. The current model offers cutting-edge design, dual channel ABS, negative and a deltabox frame which offers sharp handling capabilities and rigidity. It also comes with connected tech that sends call, SMS and email alerts on the instrument cluster.
Bajar Pulsar RS 200

The fully-faired Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled Triple Spark DTS-i 4V FI engine that churns 25.5bhp of power and 21.7Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a telescopic with an anti-friction bush and Nitrox mono shock absorber with a canister at the rear. Based on a perimeter frame and has features like a digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and a full LED headlamp.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 comes with a 249cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers 26.1 bhp at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm of torque at 7,300rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This fully-faired bike offers a comfortable riding stance without compromising on the aerodynamics. Like the other motorcycles in the list, the Gixxer SF 250 gets dual-channel ABS. It has all LED lights including the headlamps and tail lights. The instrument cluster is a Bluetooth-enabled console with features like turn-by-turn navigation, missed calls, SMS, WhatsApp alerts and Caller ID. KTM RC 125

Inspired by MotoGP design ethos, the KTM RC 125 is powered by a 124.7cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine delivering 14.3bhp at 9,250rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. Based on a lightweight split-trellis frame, the RC 125 gets adjustable handlebars and, an LCD dashboard with information for speed, rpm, gear position, average speed and fuel consumption. It also allows setting shift and peak rpm, 43mm USD forks and an adjustable mono-shock on the rear. The fully-faired KTM gets a single-channel ABS.
Karizma XMR

With a 210cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine is the second largest powertrain in this list. The Karizma XMR produces 25.15bhp at 9,250rp and 20.4 Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The Hero motorcycle is based on a high-tensile steel trellis frame for high-speed stability and handling. It is the only motorcycle that has an adjustable windshield that can be moved up or down by 30mm.
