TVS Raider 125 price drop: TVS Motor Company reduced the prices of their best-selling motorcycle, Raider 125 ahead of the festive season in India. The bike now starts at Rs 84,869 (ex-showroom) for the drum brake variant and goes to Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom). The 125cc segment consists of commuter motorcycles. TVS Raider 125 is a popular choice among consumers in this segment. The Raider 125 mainly competes with the Hero Xtreme 125 R in its segment. Let us look at the details of the Raider 125.
TVS Raider sales:
The sales of the TVS Raider witnessed a decline in the last three months. TVS Raider recorded total sales of 26,923 units in August 2024. This has resulted in a decline of 36.46 per cent on a year-on-year basis. July 2024 also recorded total sales of 24,547 units, recording a decline of 33.48 per cent on a year-on-year basis. In June 2024 as well, Raider 125 recorded total sales of 29,850 units, registering a decline of 13.00 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
TVS Raider 125 specifications:
The TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which produces 11.13 BHP of power and 11.2 Nm torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
TVS Raider 125 features:
The TVS Raider 125 offers a comprehensive set of features. It offers LED DRLs and LED headlights but the indicators are halogens. It comes with a TFT instrument cluster and comes with two riding modes on offer as well. The SmartxConnect system helps in locating the bike through the mobile phone application. The two riding modes on the Raider 125, Eco, provide a relaxed throttle response, and Power, offers a more urgent acceleration. Interestingly, the Raider comes with the TVS Intelligo Stop-Start system, but it operates only in Eco mode.
