Upcoming cars in October 2024: The automotive industry is going to witness new launches from the major auto manufacturers in India ahead of the festive season. India’s leading automotive manufacturers, Kia, Nissan, and Mercedes-Benz India will be launching new SUVs and sedans in the market this festive season. While Kia will launch a new EV, the Kia EV9, Nissan will launch a facelift of the Nissan Magnite next month.

New Kia Carnival

The new Kia Carnival is set to hit the Indian roads in the festive season. The company has started official bookings of this MPV. It will be brought via the CBU route and local production is expected to begin later. It is expected to come with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, and two variants on offer. The new Kia Carnival will be launched on October 3, 2024.

 

Kia EV9

Kia India will be launching two MPVs in India in the festive season. With the new Carnival, Kia will also launch the new EV9 in India. It is the flagship MPV from Kia. This MPV will also come via the CBU route and will be offered in a six-seater configuration as a standard. The Kia EV9 will be launched on October 3, 2024.

Nissan Magnite Facelift

Nissan launched the Magnite in India in 2020. Four years after its launch, it is going for the first mid-lifecycle update in October. As per the latest teasers from the manufacturer, the Magnite facelift will receive an updated front grill, revised taillamps, and a new design for the alloy wheels. The Nissan Magnite will be launched on October 4, 2024.

BYD eMax 7

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD will be launching the eMax 7 in India this festive season. The eMax 7 is the updated version of the E6 electric MPV. The eMax 7 is expected to receive an updated exterior design, fresh interiors, and more features for safety and convenience. The BYD eMax 7 will be launched on October 8, 2024.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift

The luxury auto segment will get the new E-Class from Mercedes-Benz India. Mercedes-Benz India is one of the leading luxury automotive manufacturers in the country. The new E-Class will compete against the BMW 5 Series LWB. It is the sixth generation E-Class to come in India. It gets the new 5.6-inch hyperscreen infotainment system which we have seen on other Mercedes cars as well. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift will launch on October 9, 2024.
